Paradigmatic
Paradigmatic is an application I’ve created. It’s a paradigm/grammar tool for learning Biblical Hebrew and New Testament (Koine) Greek verb forms. Any student of these Biblical languages should find this program useful. It’s mac only.
Christian Resources

Over the last little while I’ve gradually put together some training resources and other papers. This is as good a place as any to make them available – they might just be helpful for you.
- I Don’t Know Enough [PDF] – this is from a training seminar for Christians who have felt that at times they don’t know how to answer questions about what they believe. Tips to get you started, and resources for further investigation.
Provoc Vocab files
I’ve created some vocab files for the Mac vocabulary trainer Provoc. Most broadly applicable (and arguably most useful) are the 2 files that cover each OT Hebrew word and each NT Greek word respectively, arranged by frequency. They’re Unicode, grammatically tagged, and available in the vocabulary section of the Provoc website.
(If you want a direct link to the zip files, they are OT Hebrew and NT Greek).
Also, I’ve put together some files that cover the set texts for Moore College Old and New Testament texts. They cover the set texts for years 1-4 of New Testament, years 2-4 of Old Testament, and contain vocab for the following chapters:
- Deut 5-7, 30
- 1 Samuel 9-10, 2 Samuel 6-7
- Ezekiel 2-3, 36-37
- Psalms 2, 8, 46, 73, 96, 116, 137
- Zechariah 1-14
- Matthew 4, 10, 12:15-42, 18:12-20
- Mark 1-4
- Luke 1:1-17, 23:18-38, 24:36-49
- John 1:1-18, 3:31-36, 5:16-30, 7:25-44, 12:37-40, 15:26-16:16, 19:28-37
- Acts 1:1-9, 2:1-36
- Romans 1:16-32, 3:21-26, 5:1-11, 6:1-23, 8:1-39, 12:1-2
- 1 Corinthians 1:1-2:5, 5:1-13, 7:1-16, 8:1-13, 12:1-11, 15:1-11
- Hebrews 1:1-2:4, 4:14-5:10, 5:11-6:12, 8:1-13, 9:1-14, 12:1-27
Both these files have lessons that are progressive, i.e. the vocab builds on the previous chapter/lesson. So, for the first book in the OT file the Deut 5 lesson contains every single word that appears in Deut 5. The Deut 6 lesson contains every new word that has not appeared in Deut 5, and so on. This progression resets itself for each new book, i.e. the first lesson in 1 Samuel contains every word found in 1Sam 9, irrespective of the vocab found in Deuteronomy.
They files can also be found in the Provoc vocab section, or the direct links to the zip files at MTC OT Set Texts and MTC NT Set Texts.
Finally, I’ve contributed to the vocab list according to Ross’ Hebrew Grammar text book; the zip file is here (note that this is a bigger file, approx. 8MB, as it contains audio files up to ch. 28).
Google Earth
I acquired a set of Bible data for Google Earth some time ago. I have no source for this material – if you know where it came from, please let me know so I can credit it properly.
A whole bunch of biblical places are included here so you can get a feel for where things were, particularly in some of the OT history sections. I’ve added some regions showing the extent of various nations, based on their extent at the time of Amos (it was a visual aid for a sermon on Amos 1-2).
The download is Bible.kmz.zip. I hope it’s useful.
